Award winning artist Yvonne Wan showcased her tribute mural to the US ARMY, Veterans and those in active service at the Veterans Day Concert celebrations in the City of Goodyear.
The mural features the Armys Motto: “This We’ll Defend”. The Motto is a powerful statement that embodies soldiers’ commitment to protecting the nation’s freedom, its citizens, national interests, and the Constitution. The motto emphasizes the Army’s core values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage.
The army is the largest branch of the military and speaks to a large audience in the community.
The mural features a soldier climbing a rope demonstrating strength and integrity.
