He also managed and coached both teams. Yogi Berra achieved the All-Star designation 18 times and won 10 World Series championships, more than any other MLB player in history. Berra had a batting average of .285, hitting a total of 358 home runs throughout his career. He is one of six to win the Most Valuable Player Award in the American League, and many consider him to be one of the greatest catchers in baseball history. In 1972, Berra was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Berra died in 2015 at the age of 90.
